Knee arthritis
Arthritis affects over 40 million people in America, over 10 million in the United Kingdom and tens of millions of others worldwide.
Arthritis of the knee
is an inflammatory disorder of the knee joint that is often painful. Knee
arthritis typically affects patients over 50 years of age and is more
common in patients who are overweight. There are several ways of
classifying the various types of arthritis; arthritis refers to a
category of about 100 conditions. The common denominator is joint and
musculoskeletal pain, which is why they are grouped together as arthritis.
The most common symptoms of knee arthritis are: pain with activities,
limited range of motion, stiffness of the knee, swelling of the joint,
tenderness along the joint, a feeling the joint may "give out",
deformity of the joint (knock-knees or bow-legs).
Knee arthritis has many causes: Rheumatoid arthritis of the knee,
osteoarthritis of the knee, bursitis, and many others. (See more in
Medical Literature).
A non drugs therapy, effective and safe like exercises and supportive
devices (knee braces, knee bands, knee wraps, etc.) can help relive knee
arthritis pain. In most cases, the arthritis is centered on a single side
of the knee, so braces or bands are effective in providing stability to
one side.
Veturo Therapy knee band with bio-ceramics, provides the aid on the entire
knee requires, where the compression and warmth shifts the pressure away
from the specific part of the knee that is experiencing the pain.
