Description

Infrared Graduated Compression Travel Socks

A Simple “Treatment” of Preventing Post Flight Swelling

ReflexWear® Compression Travel Socks are powered by Celliant® Infrared technology. This is complemented by a compression of 18-21mmHg/Class 1 over the foot and ankle areas, which is strongest at the ankle and gradually decreases towards the top. Seamless construction, the socks end just below the knee to help limit peripheral edema, or lower leg swelling due to fluid buildup. A flat toe seam results in a smooth join at the toe that won’t rub or irritate sensitive feet and toes. The socks fit well in any type of shoes.

Celliant captures and converts body’s natural heat into infrared energy, which is clinically proven to improve temporary local circulation, increase cellular oxygenation and help regulate body temperature. By increasing circulation and blood flow, compression socks reduce the occurrence of varicose veins and blood clots. For example, when you are thousands of feet in the air, the pressure affects your legs and can increase the chance of swelling. But because these socks are designed to hug your legs tightly but comfortable, they help your veins and muscles circulate blood more effectively. The stimulation of blood flow can help protect, energize and renew tired muscle.

BEST USE

Infrared Compression Socks are ideal for anyone who stands or sits for extended periods of time, during travel, long flights, car trips, pregnancy, and while exercising.

Support for foot and ankle varicose veins and the prevention, rehabilitation and treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, such as heavy foot syndrome and edema. They can also lower your chances of getting deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a kind of blood clot, and other circulation problems.

Compression socks may not eliminate varicose veins, but they may reduce associated pain and swelling.

HOW TO PUT THEM ON

If you’re new to putting on compression socks, it takes a little practice. The best way to put them on is to grab the toe and fold the rest of the stock inside out. Place your foot into the toe area and roll the rest of the stocking over your ankle and leg.
Remember: If they feel too tight or painful, you got the wrong size. Compression socks should feel like your calves are getting a gentle hug, not being strangled.
